Autumn Walks

I feel incredibly lucky to live near a country lane that was once a railway line. Weekend walks are great to learn about nature and the local seasonal changes. And it leads to a lovely local nature park.

That Autumn glow. I just love this time of year!

Love Autumn

We currently have to tear our golden Labrador,  Oscar away from all the apples. He loves eating them on his daily walks.

Its a little late in the year for blackberries. But the berries around are still pretty to admire.

My boys are now 8 and 6, I learned years ago to just let them be wild outdoors. Yes they get bruised, scratched and mucky. But they learn one way or another. And well its real fun!

Family Walks

The one thing I am finding the most difficult to grasp at the moment is the fact that the only contact I can have with my own mother is outdoors. Its a good job I was taught young there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing.

I’m happy outdoors as long as I have enough layers. I’m always cold. Cold hands, warm heart.

But it does make these walks much more enjoyable.

And well we are lucky to live in such a beautiful area.

I would love to come along to capture your family walks. You choose the location. Where is your favourite place to visit? I love discovering new natural areas.
