Praise the spells and bless the charms,
I found April in my arms.
April golden, April cloudy,
Gracious, cruel, tender, rowdy;
April soft in flowered languor,
April cold with sudden anger,
Ever changing, ever true – –
I love April, I love you.
Always Marry an April Girl
by Ogden Nash
How was your April?

Clearly, I’m an April girl ha. April has been a month of indulgence for us. A bit too much alcohol and chocolate. Easter and birthdays make for a dangerous mix.
If you’re looking for a tattoo I highly recommend

On a healthier note, the kids continue their extra curricular activities. Louis with football and a national robotics competition, winning a Judges Award. Harvey, continuing in judo and being the ultimate water baby. Trying his hand at paddle boarding and loving every minute.
I also blogged about my favourite thing to do to help calm me recently.
I’ve been remembering the importance of resilience and reminding myself how to build children’s self esteem. I hope you find these tips useful. What would you like to see more of?
And did you know there are actually mental and physical benefits to hanging wall art?
Location of the Month - Returns

Location of the month will be returning in May. As always, our mailing list subscribers find out first about where and other exclusive offers only available to you when you sign up.
I’ve also been wedding venue scouting, keep an eye out for future features as the season begins.
Why is Photography Important?
I’ve read that children feel safe, welcome, seen and loved if there are images of themselves in the family home. I love this idea and think this is something every family needs to know.
You see stories, memories and keepsakes are important. Life is short. Our humanity is what makes us beautiful. The light will never look or be seen the same again and neither will we. We will never have this moment again. So, let’s capture it!
