Far up in the deep blue sky,
Great white clouds are floating by;
All the world is dressed in green;
Many happy birds are seen,
Roses bright and sunshine clear
Show that lovely June is here.

How was your June?
June was a very busy month for our family, you can tell its Summer!
We took part in the 30 Days Wild Challenge for our local wildlife trust. This included lots of time outdoors, being mindful in nature and the boys even went camping. We didn’t raise much but even awareness of the incredible nature we have right here on our doorstep can be just as rewarding.

We have also had an incredible amount of family fun, with baby showers, birthdays and an extended family trip to Holmside Park.
Quieting the Noise
Let’s be real for a second, sometimes being an adult can be tough. We are great at looking after everyone else’s need, but often neglect our own. It helps to get a little reminder to put yourself first once in a while, you can’t pour from an empty cup.
Enchanted Living is the inspiration behind my Photography, art and creativity. Imaginative local stories for all the family.
Rainton Meadows is home to a local legend; Joe’s Pond.
As a family we signed up to take part in the 30 days wild challenge, as Rainton Meadows is just up the road. And well, we are a wild bunch and love to be outdoors.
It would have been our June location of the month but we just couldn’t squeeze it in. So watch this space for a July date …
At LAL Photography
It’s been all about celebrations and achievements in June!
Toni and Andy welcomed their baby girl into the world, wishing them all the luck, love and well wishes as they journey through this precious time.
We shared in the wedding celebrations of Mr and Mrs Lewis at the beautiful Angel View Inn, great for a country style wedding and easy to get to. Doesn’t Deb look stunning!
Blog coming soon …
Location of the Month
We will be returning to Rainton Meadows for July’s location of the month. As always, our mailing list subscribers find out first about our exclusive offers only available to you when you sign up.
Why Is Photography Important?
I’ve read that children feel safe, welcome, seen and loved if there are images of themselves in the family home. I love this idea and think this is something every family needs to know.
You see stories, memories and keepsakes are important. Life is short. Our humanity is what makes us beautiful. The light will never look or be seen the same again and neither will we.
We will never have this moment again. So, let’s capture it!
