We all know what is just around the corner. And here at LAL Photography we’re sentimental souls. We like to spend this time with friends and family, making memories. So, as we close our diary until the new year I thought now would be a good time to reintroduce myself.
I am LAL, LAL is me. I suppose you could call it a nickname. But it is so much more. It’s an identity, stories, memories. It’s a name that brings me love.
You see, my photography is such an intrinsic part of me, just like my name and nickname. It’s part of my personality, both in name and in practice.

I learned early in my career how important stories, memories and keepsakes are. How short life is. But it’s only recently I’m starting to understand this is something to be celebrated.
Our humanity is what makes us beautiful. The light will never look the same or be seen the same again and neither will we. We will never have this moment again. So, let’s capture it!

I’ve read that children feel safe, welcome, seen and loved if there are images of themselves in the family home. I love this idea and think this is something every family needs to know.
